two month photos

lame as it is, i'm trying to catch up on laneah's life in like one week! ha. i'm taking this class online with byu-idaho on family history work. the prophets have only mentioned a thousand plus times that it's so important we keep a record of our life. so, i decided to get my butt in gear and record this little girls life a smidge better. one of my favorite things to do is sit down and look through my beautiful scrapbook my mom worked so hard on. it will be worth it. since we are military i have to post the only photos i take of her, because we live so far from home that visiting us breaks the bank. so, needless to say, you all have to stare at photos of my daughter until your face turns blue-but...at least she's cute, right? you have all been such good sports about her photos. we sure love that you love our little girl as much as we do. here are few of her two month shots that i never got posted! enjoy!

as of lately

bloggers! hello there, long time no talk...well, for me anyway. ;) so, i decided i should start using this thing more often; what do ya think about that? genius huh? rather than go backwards and try to fill you all in, i'll just tell you what i am up to now. for about two years i've been sitting on this idea of doing photography, but was scared out of my wits to try it out. i think at some point every starter photographer goes through that. its intimidating putting your work out there and hearing what people have to say about it. but that's not even the hard part! learning about photography will blow your mind...period. being new to editing, seeing light, running a website, and working my camera is OVERWHELMING. but hey, if you want it...you gotta work for it, right? right. so, needless to say i have been working my tail off, and praying it pays off. i now have a facebook page for my business Azlyn Photography, AND a website in the making! i am hoping to get it up and running within the next week or so, and i am SUPER excited about it. my danny has been working crazy work shifts, and so it makes it difficult to see each other during the day; we usually resort to leaving little sticky notes for one another lying around in weird places. danny did amazing things for valentines day, and i must praise him right now. the man decorated my car with rose petals and paint,...(see all evidence below) then a few weeks later he made me indian food, gave me a massage where he lit  98 candles and i was freaking out the entire time that our pueblo house was going to burn down. do pueblo houses burn down? hmmm...anyways, what a stud right!? like seriously, i married a perfect man. stay tuned, more to come ;)
