baby nayah is three months old today!
ahhh! time refuses to slow down for me. i can hardly handle her cuteness; this girl is a ball! laneah likes to eat her hands, kick her legs, make fish lips, talk to her seahorse, coo, snuggle up close, talk with daddy, grab mommies hair, hold her bottle, burrow under blankets, splash in the bath, flail her arms, chug her milk, and hold hands. she is a regular hiccup queen at least once a day, and loves when daddy plays motorboat on her lips. she is memorized with bright lights, and hates being cold. one of her skills is making daddy believe she's asleep at night after her feeding, and then waking up with loud cooing noises the second he lays her down in the bassinet. she is a regular goof ball, and now is starting to roll! she makes us laugh when we get in the car and hear her chattering away to herself in the backseat. this girl can sleep through the loud f-22 jets flying over our house at 8am, but can't manage to sleep if mom does so much as coughs; she wakes up instantly (so i hold my breath). everyone in the house enjoys kissing nayah's face on a daily basis, even the pup. we all are so happy she came into our lives, and we tell her this every day in random songs we make up for her. mom especially loves singing to her, and make up her bedtime stories about henry the chicken and the bubble gum goobstopper tree. oh yeah, and one more thing, we like dress up!
babies rock, and being a mom is seriously the coolest job in the history of womanhood.
